Lightening is a strong

manifestation of nature. In poetry, it is used as a metaphor for heart-shaking sound, burning the birds’ abodes, and rendering them homeless. This applies to the beloved’s behavior as well who ravages the hapless lover. Lightening, used in a variety of contexts, has emerged as an interesting concept through classical Urdu poetry.
