جاؤ ماتم گزارو جانے دو
جس کا غم ہے اسے منانے دو
بیچ سے ایک داستاں ٹوٹی
اور پھر بن گئے فسانے دو
ہم فقیروں کو کچھ تو دو صاحب
کچھ نہیں دے سکو تو طعنے دو
ہاتھ جس کو لگا نہیں سکتا
اس کو آواز تو لگانے دو
تم دیا ہو تو ان پتنگوں کو
کم سے کم روشنی میں آنے دو
