یہاں ہر شخص ہر پل حادثہ ہونے سے ڈرتا ہے
یہاں ہر شخص ہر پل حادثہ ہونے سے ڈرتا ہے
کھلونا ہے جو مٹی کا فنا ہونے سے ڈرتا ہے
مرے دل کے کسی کونے میں اک معصوم سا بچہ
بڑوں کی دیکھ کر دنیا بڑا ہونے سے ڈرتا ہے
نہ بس میں زندگی اس کے نہ قابو موت پر اس کا
مگر انسان پھر بھی کب خدا ہونے سے ڈرتا ہے
عجب یہ زندگی کی قید ہے دنیا کا ہر انساں
رہائی مانگتا ہے اور رہا ہونے سے ڈرتا ہے
