دیوالی ہے
دیپوں والی
جگ مگ جگ مگ دیپوں والی دیوالی ہے
شب بھر روشنیاں بانٹے گی
دھن وانوں میں
فاقہ کشوں میں
حسب مقدر
لیکن ان دیپوں کی لویں کیوں مدھم سی ہیں
ان ننھے دیپوں کی لووں سے
جو ہر شام مری پلکوں پر جل اٹھتے ہیں
