راتوں کی سنسان سڑک پر
چلتے ہیں یادوں کے لشکر
دیکھ نہ یوں پیچھے مڑ مڑ کر
ورنہ ہو جائے گا پتھر
ملتی ہے پیروں کو طاقت
کھا کر دیکھ کبھی تو ٹھوکر
گھر ہی بے گھری یہ کب تک
کوئی نئی دیوار نیا در
قتل کا اتنا شور ہوا ہے
دیکھ رہا ہوں خود کو چھو کر
وصل چلو منظور ہے یوں بھی
ان کا پتھر اور میرا سر
