ظالم یہ تری نگاہ کیا تھی
کیدھر ہے کہاں ہے خوش دلی تو
ہم سے بھی کبھو تو آشنا تھی
شیریں بھی تجھی سی تھی ستم گر
لیلیٰ بھی اگرچہ بے وفا تھی
فرہاد پہ اس قدر نہ تھا ظلم
مجنوں پہ نہ یہ غضب جفا تھی
مارا ہے بیاںؔ کو جن نے اے شوخ
کیا جانیے کون سی ادا تھی
