khol di hai zulf kis ne phul se ruKHsar par

ulfat ye chhupaen hum kisi ki

ye ek tera jalwa sanam chaar su hai

apna har uzw chashm-e-bina hai

qatl ushshaq kiya karte hain

nim bismil ki kya ada hai ye

tum wafa ka ewaz jafa samjhe

bhula hai baad-e-marg mujhe dost yan talak

usko mujhse ruTha diya kis ne

nazara-e-ruKH-e-saqi se mujhko masti hai

hasrat ai jaan shab-e-judai hai

munh Dhanp ke main jo ro raha hun

kis naz se wah hum ko mara

kis qadar mujhko na-tawani hai

takallum jo koi karta hai fani

kya hain shaida-e-qadd-e-yar daraKHt

jo pinhan tha wahi har su ayan hai

usko ghaflat-pesha kah aate hain hum

hath se kuchh na tere ai mah-e-kanan hoga

lab-e-jaan-baKHsh pe dam apna fana hota hai
